After the property show: turn a shortlist into a sound decision

The organiser listed the NAREDCO Telangana property show for 30 October to 1 November at HITEX. The useful work continues after an exhibition: compare the exact project phase, the registered documents and the full cost of ownership.

The organiser listed the show for 30–31 October and 1 November 2026 at HITEX, Hyderabad.

An exhibition listing identifies participating developers; it does not independently certify a project’s approvals, price or suitability.

Why it matters

A polished pavilion helps you discover projects. Your next comparison should put similar homes on the same basis: carpet area, phase, possession commitments and total payable cost. For an NRI, appoint a trusted local person to verify progress and obtain documents directly. For an employee, test the real journey to work. For a business owner, keep personal housing decisions separate from operating cash needs.

Turn the exhibition shortlist into evidence

Create one file per project rather than one folder of brochures. Record the promoter, project and phase, unit configuration, stated carpet area, price breakup and promised possession date. Ask for written documents supporting important sales statements and keep the date of every quotation.

Use the same questions for all shortlisted projects. An attractive show offer becomes meaningful only when the unit, inclusions, payment schedule and conditions are clear. Ask whether the quotation depends on a particular unit, booking date, loan approval or non-refundable payment.

Visit, compare and decide at a practical pace

Visit the actual location and inspect the route, surroundings and visible construction status. Separate the show apartment’s finishes from the contractual specification of the unit being offered. Test ordinary needs such as water arrangements, nearby services and travel to work.

Prepare an all-in purchase budget including the quoted charges, applicable transaction costs, financing, expected fit-out and a contingency. Obtain independent review of the agreement and project documents before committing. If buying remotely, define what a local representative must verify and ask for dated records from the site visit.

Before you decide

Build a three-project comparison. Ask for the project and phase registration, agreement draft, itemised costs and written delivery commitments. Check the relevant authority’s live record before paying.

  • Match the promoter, project, phase and exact unit.
  • Compare carpet area, inclusions and complete payment schedules.
  • Visit the site and test daily access.
  • Review the agreement and written commitments before paying.
